Innovative all-reflective high-power laser beam shaping utilizing microstructured mirrors

We present an all-reflective laser beam shaping technology capable of managing multi-kilowatt power levels for lasers ranging from continuous-wave to ultra-short pulses and covering wavelengths from near-infrared to deep-ultraviolet. This technology employs micro-structured mirrors with continuous surfaces for highly efficient beam shaping and is robust against thermal effects. Utilizing a unique laser-induced micro-delamination process, we can quickly customize beam shaping solutions. We demonstrate applications including beam shaping, splitting, and focal shaping, highlighting the technology’s adaptability and efficiency in laser material processing, addressing the increasing industrial demand for advanced beam shaping.
