B-Raman: an open-source, versatile platform for automated Raman microspectroscopy sample analysis
The B-Raman is a versatile, open-source platform designed for the automated analysis and characterization of biological samples both in vitro and in vivo that combines brightfield microscopy and Raman microspectroscopy. Its open-source, Python-based, integrated control and analysis software allows for the development of advanced tailored measurement protocols. Moreover, the analysis software integrates a large number of label-free analysis techniques. Particularly, spectral deconvolution techniques can be used for label-free tissue segmentation. We demonstrate the use of the platform and its analysis software for the analysis and automated segmentation of different tissue sections, including osteochondral tissue.
