Computational FLIM of cellular microenvironments

The Eliceiri lab develops open-source tools that enhance FLIM results by leveraging computational techniques to extract meaningful information from fluorescence lifetime measurements. We will discuss the following main work of our group: 1) Lifetime Analysis, 2) Lifetime Acquisition and Real-time Analysis, 3) Noise Reduction and Signal Enhancement in TCSPC that pertains to photon shot noise, detector noise, and background fluorescence, 4) Feature Extraction and Dimensionality Reduction, 5) FLIM based Quantitative Analysis and Biomarker Discovery.
