Advanced FLIM and ISM-FLIM analysis options with flexible ROI handling
NovaFLIM improves the efficiency of FLIM, FLIM-FRET, and anisotropy analysis for z-stacks, time-lapse series, and tiled images captured with PicoQuant's Luminosa confocal microscope. It is compatible with Luminosa, MicroTime 200, and various PicoQuant LSM upgrade kits for Nikon, Olympus, and Zeiss. The GPU-accelerated batch analysis significantly reduces processing time. New features include 1D and 2D histograms for robust ROI definitions and image comparisons. Flexible ROI handling and phasor plot analysis provide advanced options. NovaISM enables ISM-FLIM analysis with the PDA-23 add-on for the Luminosa microscope. ISM improves resolution by 1.5 to 1.7 times compared to standard confocal images. For 2D recordings, ISM-FLIM enhances image contrast by rejecting out-of-focus light, improving the signal-to-noise ratio and lifetime contrast. These advancements allow faster or gentler live imaging.
