Direct quantitative phase retrieval in full-field transmission optical coherence tomography
Transmission optical coherence tomography (tOCT) offers significant potential for quantitative imaging, yet challenges remain in extracting quantitative phase information directly. This paper presents two direct quantitative phase recovery methods in transmission full-field swept-source OCT: SOPHAST-OCT and qtOCT. Both methods provide accurate 2D phase information, with qtOCT showing lower noise and better accuracy. In addition, qtOCT features temporal gating ability, making it a promising tool for imaging multiple-scattering biological objects.
