3D computational imaging of dry mass and orientation
The dry mass and the orientation of biomolecules are sensitive readouts of the architecture of organelles, cells, and tissues. These properties can be imaged without a label by measuring their permittivity tensor (PT). In this talk, I will summarize 3D imaging of permittivity tensor, including forward models, inverse algorithms, and open-source software (https://github.com/mehta-lab/waveorder, https://github.com/mehta-lab/recOrder) for modular imaging.
