Label-free hyperspectral 3D fieldoscopy with attosecond precision
We demonstrate a label-free hyperspectral microscope with attosecond precision based on femtosecond fieldoscopy. Due to the placement of the sample on the surface of the detection crystal, the response of the excitation pulse is detected in near field with exceptional resolution. The principle of field resolved spectroscopy in combination with tight focussing and precise raster scanning allows image acquisition in two spatial and one temporal dimension, enabling label-free broadband hyperspectral imaging with both spectroscopic information and phase information. The imaging capabilities of our system are demonstrated on structured indium-tin-oxide nano-crystals, paving the path for super-resolution, label-free hyperspectral imaging of biological samples.
