Carbon nanotube emission enhancement in silicon photonic crystal nanobeam cavity
In this study, we introduce a novel side-coupling air mode silicon photonic crystal nanobeam cavity (PCNC) and illustrate substantial enhancement of photoluminescence (PL) from single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWCNTs). Computational simulations reveal a cavity mode volume V=0.23.(λ/n)^3, while experimental data exhibit efficient coupling β=0.8 and a high Purcell factor Fp=2826.(λ/n)^3, specifically at 1596.5 nm wavelength.
