Scaling towards high-speed and efficient hybrid on-chip and regrown PCSELs

We present here progresses and challenges on both hybrid on-chip PCSELs and monolithic regrown PCSELs, with applications towards high speed and high efficient semiconductor laser sources which can exceeds the performance trade-offs of the traditional VCSELs.
