Generation and characterization of complex vector modes with digital micromirror devices
Structured light fields have been gaining increasing popularity in the last two or three decades, in part due to their fascinating properties, which are giving rise to novel concepts and inspiring applications across a wide variety of fields. As such the development of generation and characterisation techniques employing al sort of methods is gaining increasing track. Amongst these, techniques based on the use of computer-controlled devices, such as Spatial light modulators and Digital micromirror devices have become popular due to their high flexibility and versatility. Here we will provide an overview on the use of digital micromirror devices for generating and characterising structured light beams.
