Feasibility of broadband absorption spectroscopy to assess cerebral water content in adults
We demonstrate the feasibility of broadband absorption spectroscopy (BAS) to assess cerebral water content in adults by quantifying measurement repeatability, showing correlation with brain water content assessed with MRI and by demonstrating expected decreases in BAS-measured water content during hyperosmolar therapy in brain injured patients.
