A Novel Oblique Projection MUSIC Algorithm Against Active Decoys Using Joint Estimation of Polarization and Spatial Domains
As the battlefield environment becomes increasingly complex and the active decoy technology is applied gradually, the anti-radiation radar seekers face serious threats. The traditional spectral estimation algorithm is difficult to perform high-resolution DOA (direction of arrival for short) estimation for complex signals which the target and decoys are overlapped in time domain. To solve this difficult problem, a novel oblique projection MUSIC algorithm against active decoys using joint estimation of polarization and spatial domains is proposed in this article, which can perform high-resolution DOA estimation for overlapping signals of multi radiation source in time domain. In addition, according to the polarization difference between the radar and the decoy radiation signals, the radar target signal can be identified. In this way, the algorithm proposed in this paper can achieve the purpose of effectively countering the active decoys. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm has a good performance in anti-active decoys, strong practicability and is beneficial for engineering implementation.
