Vibration Isolation Control of Stewart-Gough Platform Based on Sliding Mode Control

The six-degree-of-freedom Stewart-Gough platform finds use in a variety of fields, such as radio telescopes, micromanipulators, motion simulators, parallel machine tools, stabilizing elements, and etc. Two categories trajectory tracking control and stabilization control are distinguished based on the control's intended use. This work delves further into the study of parallel vibration isolation control utilizing the Stewart-Gough platform, with a particular emphasis on the platform's control architecture in relation to stabilizing substances. First, the inertial coordinate system is creatively added to the motion platform model, which is based on the fundamental coordinate system. After thorough and exacting calculations and derivations, the platform's dynamics are finally examined using the Newtonian Eulerian approach, and its motion characteristics and mechanical laws are thoroughly examined. With these investigations, we want to advance linked subjects and offer a theoretical foundation and useful recommendations for the continued implementation and optimization of the Stewart-Gough platform.
