ON THE CLASSIFICATION OF PRODUCTION PROCESSES

The article analyzes modern approaches to the classification of production processes. Classifications of production processes "by the nature of the equipment used" and "by the degree of continuity" are considered in detail. The criterion of continuous and discontinuous production processes is formulated. The classification of the levels of automation of processes in the production system is proposed.
