The Physical Essence of the Greenhouse Effect and Its Work on Climate Warming in the 21st Century and Beyond
A detailed scientific definition of the greenhouse effect as a flow of energy of a certain power is given. The concept of “radiation amplification potential” is introduced as an energy equivalent of the greenhouse effect, presented as a function of the content of anthropogenic greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. For the first time in climatology, the main results and consequences of the greenhouse effect are presented in the form of power functions of the radiative amplification potential. The calculation and analysis of all energy components of the greenhouse effect and the process of global warming in the 21st century for the most likely Scenario of moderate decarbonization of the global energy system have been performed.
