Pedagogical abilities of coaches depending on their volitional qualities

The article presents the results of a specially conducted empirical study, which is aimed at determining the place of volitional qualities in the structure of abilities for pedagogical activity of sports coaches. Here are shown the results of the severity and variability of two groups of indicators: volitional qualities of the personality of coaches and their pedagogical abilities. The results of correlation analysis are also presented to determine: internal relationships — components of volitional qualities and components of abilities, as well as external relationships between these two groups of indicators. In addition, the results of calculating correlation relations are reflected, with the calculation of regression coefficients explaining the reasons for the obtained relationships between the qualities of will and indicators of abilities, as well as between pedagogical skills as components of abilities and indicators of integrative abilities. Two groups of volitional qualities have been obtained: those that are factors of the pedagogical abilities of coaches and those for the inclusion of which in the number of these abilities there are grounds.
