Nano‐Patterned CuO Nanowire Nanogap Hydrogen Gas Sensor with Voids (Adv. Funct. Mater. 12/2025)
Nanowire Nanogap Gas Sensors In article number 2415971, Yutaka Majima and co-workers achieve nano-patterned polycrystalline CuO nanowires nanogap gas sensors with voids with sub-5-ppb hydrogen detection and sub-10-s response and recovery times. Pre-H2 annealing, void-generating oxidation, and 33 nm nanogap electrodes are key to improving the sensing performance. This study offers effective hydrogen sensors to contribute to a hydrogen society.
