Đánh giá một số chỉ tiêu sinh sản của bò cái lai Zebu phối giống với tinh bò BBB và Senepol tại Khánh Hòa

A total of 225 Zebu crossbred cows were synchronized using hormonal treatments, including 112 cows inseminated with BBB semen and 113 cows with Senepol semen. The results indicated no significant differences in the basic reproductive parameters between the two groups. The pregnancy rates after the first insemination, the second insemination, cumulative pregnancy rates after two inseminations, and the conception rates were 54.92% and 55.28%; 40.00% and 43.64%; 72.95% and 74.80%; 1.99 and 1.93 times for the BBB and Senepol groups, respectively. Similarly, there were no notable differences in pregnancy and calving parameters between the two groups. The calving rates, dystocia rates, and gestation durations were 91.01% and 93.48%; 4.94% and 2.33%; and 278.6 days and 279.6 days, respectively. However, birth weights of the calves showed statistically significant differences (P<0.05), both overall and by gender. The average birth weight of F1 BBB crossbred calves was 28.37 kg, significantly higher than that of F1 Senepol calves, which was 25.83 kg. This study provides important data on the reproductive efficiency of Zebu crossbred cows when inseminated with BBB and Senepol semen, supporting breed selection strategies for beef cattle production.
