Advocacy as Public Service: The Public Law Concept of Advocacy in Works by E.V. Vaskovsky
The article is devoted to E. Vaskovsky’s views on the principles of the Bar corporation. Not only are E. Vaskovky’s Russian-language works used, but also Polish-language publications are applied, which have never been translated. He considered the ideal Bar as a public service based on principles of public law. Not all his ideas were accepted. At the same time, E. Vaskovsky’s point of view on the Bar as a corporation independent of the state, and on an attorney as a factor of justice is in demand up to the present time.
