Problems of Defining the Functions of the Historical and Legal Science as a Private Theoretical and Methodological Issue

The article is devoted to one of the current theoretical and methodological problems of domestic historical and legal science. For the first time, it attempts a comprehensive and comprehensive analysis of the concept, determining the classification of its functions, and also contains the author’s description of functional tasks, and argues for their theoretical and practical (applied) significance.
