Characterization of spectral elements in non-archimedean Banach algebras

Let A be a non-archimedean Banach algebra with unit e over an algebraically closed field. In this paper, we give a generalization of results of the paper [2] and we establish a new necessary and sufficient condition on the resolvent of an element a ∈ A such that for all n ∈ N, ∥an∥ ≤ 1.
