Legal Science and Education in the Samara University (on the 55th Anniversary of the Law Institute of the Samara University)

The article describes the history of the development of legal education and science at Samara University. The facts about legal scientists who worked at the Law Institute of Samara University are presented. The scientific schools of the Samara University Law Institute are described. The Law Institute of Samara University continues its mission, which consists in training highly educated, competitive specialists in the field of law with fundamental legal knowledge, high culture and morality, able to understand the essence and social significance of their profession, with deep respect for the law, the values of the rule of law, professional ethics, a sense of duty and responsibility for the fate of people providing solving priority tasks of socio-economic, political and cultural development of the Samara region and the Russian Federation.
