The modern healthcare system faces many challenges related to improving the quality of medical services, optimizing resources, and reducing costs [5]. One of the key tools to achieve these goals is the standardization of medical services, as a process of developing and implementing unified protocols and procedures that provide unified approaches to medical care. The correctness of the choice of diagnostic and treatment methods, the fulfillment of mandatory requirements based on evidence-based medicine, the achievement of results or effectiveness. These requirements for the provision of medical services are defined by the legislation of the Russian Federation [15]. Most experts note that a significant percentage of undesirable events related to the provision of medical care are preventable and belong to the category that occurred due to improper organization, rather than due to the human factor. In this regard, the analysis of the importance of standardization of medical services of modern healthcare in relation to the prevention of medical errors, the study of the main approaches to its implementation, as well as the assessment of its impact on the quality and effectiveness of medical care provided is very relevant.
