It has been established that the 21st century is characterized by transformational changes in both social spheres of life and legal principles under the influence of globalization and digitalization. These processes affect all social spheres, and the organization of notarial activity should change in accordance with general trends and meet the modern needs of civil turnover. In the process of research, trends in legal transformations of notarial activity under the influence of digitalization were identified. It was revealed that elements of changes in the legal regulation of notarial activity under the influence of digitalization have been noticeable in Ukraine since the late 90s of the 20th century. Thus, on July 14, 1999, a decision was made to determine the Ministry of Justice of the state enterprise that will manage and administer the Unified Registers, as well as information and communication and automated systems, which became the State Enterprise «Information Center». The specified enterprise was of great importance in the reform and digitalization of notarial services, as it directly managed such registers, which were gradually introduced in Ukraine, at different times. The changes in notarial activities under the influence of the adoption of the Laws of Ukraine “On Electronic Identification and Electronic Trust Services”, “On Electronic Documents and Electronic Document Management”, “On Public Electronic Registers”, “On Information Protection in Information and Communication Systems”, the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “Some Issues of Electronic Interaction of Electronic Information Resources”, “Issues of the Unified State Web Portal of Electronic Services and the Register of Administrative Services” and other regulatory legal acts were analyzed.
