IOT Based Accident Detection and Alert System
This project aims to address the issue at hand by implementing an accident detection and alert system. The system's goal is to increase traffic safety by identifying abrupt accelerations that could be signs of an accident. If anything is detected, the GPS module logs the location and the GSM module instantly notifies emergency contacts so that they can take appropriate action. The victim's exact location is one of the data transmitted by the microcontroller to the GSM module, which forwards it to the designated contact. After locating the victim using the GPS MODEM, the contact can offer prompt assistance. This initiative ensures the safety of people operating their automobiles by providing a professional and creative solution to a major issue. Arduino-powered Accident Detection and Alert System can stop ambiguous deaths by notifying a registered mobile number of the accident and providing the exact location via a link to a Google map. In order to guarantee the security of both drivers and passengers, this technology is a wise investment. Notifying oncoming motorists of an accident is crucial, particularly in inclement weather. If not, there could be a multiple vehicle collision (MVC), or another accident. Deaths may rise because of people not receiving quick first aid if the Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) is not notified of the situation in a timely manner.
