Application of Fuzzy Logic Controller for Stabilization of Magnetic Levitation System
The primary goal of this work is to explore the application of fuzzy logic in controlling a magnetic levitation system, aiming to develop a controller capable of keeping a magnetic object suspended in the air, counteracting its weight. The magnetic levitation system is characterized as a nonlinear, open-loop unstable, and time-varying dynamic system. The proposed fuzzy logic controller allows for system control without relying on its mathematical model, though it necessitates experts to describe the system and its behavior. This technique is employed to demonstrate its robustness and unique characteristics. Simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
