Self-Oscillating IPT System Based on Phase Tracking Loop
The coupling in an inductive power transfer (IPT) system make frequency tracking and power control difficult. This article presents an IPT system using a self-oscillation approach to solve this problem. In this system, the working period is divided into two stages: independent oscillating stage and power injecting stage. Based on these two stages, we established a closed loop to analyze the phase of the system. This loop is composed of three units to achieve phase tracking, power regulating and self-oscillating respectively. Self-oscillation will be realized in an IPT system by this loop. After the experiment verification, the implementation method for the system demonstrates effectiveness by tracking and compensating for system changes in a single cycle effectively.
