Prediction and Analysis of Construction Progress in Wharf with Complex Factors
Abstract The construction management of wharf is a complex project involving multiple disciplines, a large amount of work and extremely high construction difficulty. In addition, it is influenced by the surrounding climate and environmental conditions, which puts higher requirements on the precise arrangement of construction progress and resource allocation. Ensuring the smooth progress of the project is crucial. Faced with numerous complex factors such as climate, environment, personnel, equipment and construction methods, the difficulties of controlling construction progress increases accordingly. BIM technology, with its excellent visualization and simulation capabilities, can effectively compensate for the shortcomings of traditional schedule management methods. This article proposes an innovative “WBS+RBS” quantification method, combined with a construction period prediction algorithm, to scientifically predict construction progress. Through BIM technology, the construction progress sub model is organically integrated with the weight of influencing factors to achieve three‐dimensional visualization of progress simulation and prediction. Furthermore, it can also provide early warning and optimization of actual construction progress deviations, thereby improving the accuracy and efficiency of construction management.
