The Coupling Mechanism of Single Pile and Marine Silt Soft Soil Foundation Under Horizontal Load
Abstract Soft soil is widely distributed all over the world. Because of the soft soil has high compressibility and low strength, it is necessary to study the stress of the single pile in soft soil before construction. In order to study the lateral bearing capacity of the single pile under soft soil, a finite element numerical model of reinforced concrete single pile‐soft soil coupling is established by ABAQUS, and the changes of lateral bearing capacity of the single pile under different pile diameter, soft soil thickness and pile strength are analyzed. The results show that when the pile diameter increases from 0.7m to 1.0m, the maximum value of pile bending moment increases by 46.23%, and the bending moment of the adjacent pile diameter increases by 14.37%, 11.21%, 14.96%. The thickness of soft soil has no obvious effect on the bearing characteristics of the pile. When the soft soil increases from 10 m to 25 m, the displacement of the pile top increases from 8.79 mm to 9.02 mm under the same horizontal load, and the increase does not exceed 1 %. Keeping the horizontal load of the pile top unchanged, as the concrete strength increases, the bending moment of the pile body between adjacent strengths decreases by 1.36%, 1.22%, 1.14%, 1.15%. It provides the necessary reference for the follow‐up project pile foundation construction.
