Numerical Simulation of a New Waveform Steel Web Box Girder with Pure Torsion
Abstract Research has found that the range of relevant element parameter settings in ANSYS has an impact on the numerical simulation results of the box girder pure torsion finite element method. Numerical simulation research on the entire process of pure torsional failure of box beams is conducted and then analyzes and compares the failure forms during the pure torsion process of the box girder Torque torque curve, torsional stiffness, etc. The results of the study show that the values of the open shear strength transfer coefficient of the reinforced concrete simulated by the Solid65 unit range from 0.05 to 0.25, the size of the closed shear strength transfer coefficient is set between 0.9 and 1, the value of concrete tensile compressive strength and the size of grid division have important effects on the simulation results, among which the setting of the shear transfer coefficient of the unit's open crack has the greatest impact on the early cracking torque and the late ultimate bearing capacity.
