Study on the Influence of 3D Printing Parameters on Compression‐tension Ratio of Gypsum Rock‐like Specimens
Abstract In recent years, 3D printing technology has been gradually applied to the field of rock mechanics research, and 3D printing gypsum specimens can be used for rock mechanics tests. Rock generally has brittle mechanical characteristics and large compression‐tension ratio, but the compression‐tension ratio of 3D printing gypsum specimens is often related to the printing process parameters. In this paper, gypsum specimens were printed by different printing processes, uniaxial compression test and Brazilian splitting test were carried out, the compression‐tension ratio of specimens was obtained, and the influence of the amount of adhesive, printing layer thickness and printing direction on the compression‐tension ratio of gypsum specimens was revealed. The research shows that the compression‐tension ratio of gypsum specimen is large when the printing parameters such as appropriate small amount of adhesive, thin printing thickness and the same printing direction as the loading direction are used.
