Effect of Solid Content in Polycarboxylic Acid Mother Liquor on Storage Performance and Pumping Efficiency
Abstract In this paper, the effects of increasing solid content, pumping efficiency and storage at different temperatures on the stability of polycarboxylate mother liquor were discussed. The experimental results show that the pumping efficiency is related to the solid content of mother liquor. The higher the solid content is, the lower the pumping efficiency is. At the same time, according to the comparison between drip flow rate and pumping time, the pumping efficiency of mother liquid is also affected by pump power and pipeline, and the greater the power, the smaller the difference in pumping efficiency of mother liquid with different solid content. At the same time, the different solid content of the same polycarboxylic acid mother liquor has good stability in a certain temperature range. Under the storage conditions of 5°C and 60°C, the appearance and performance of the mother liquor did not change significantly, showing good stability and compatibility. In addition, the infrared spectrum analysis showed that the correlation coefficient between the mother liquor and the reference sample was higher after high temperature storage, indicating that these mother liquor maintained good physical and chemical properties under high temperature conditions, and no obvious changes occurred. This shows that the change of solid content of polycarboxylate mother liquor has little effect on the stability of mother liquor, which has a high reference value for actual production and storage.
