Evaluation of Crack Resistance of Magnesium Phosphate Cement‐based Materials
Abstract This paper reviews the crack resistance of magnesium phosphate cement‐based materials from the aspects of bend‐compression ratio, modulus of elasticity, bending resistance and drying shrinkage. The results show that the crack resistance of magnesium phosphate cement‐based materials is no less than that of Portland cement‐based materials; the crack resistance of magnesium phosphate cement‐based materials can be improved by adding large amount of fly ash and low amount of mineral powder; the crack resistance of low strength magnesium phosphate cement mortar can be significantly improved by polymer, while the crack resistance of high strength magnesium phosphate cement‐based materials can be enhanced by fiber.
