Study on the Influence of Pre‐Stress of Steel Support on Deformation of Ground Connecting Wall in Foundation Pit Engineering
Abstract In the process of excavation, the soil pressure on both sides of the foundation pit gradually increases, which will cause deformation of the enclosure structure. Steel support plays an active role in reducing the deformation of the enclosure structure. In order to explore the influence of pre‐stress of steel support on the deformation of ground connecting wall in foundation pit engineering, this paper takes a subway foundation pit under construction in Nanjing Metro as an example by numerical simulation, and discusses the change law of ground connecting wall during excavation and the influence of steel support on the maximum deformation of ground connecting wall under different pre‐stress. The analysis shows that with the increase of excavation depth, the displacement of ground connecting wall increases gradually. When the axial stress of the steel support is applied, the deformation of the enclosure structure can be effectively reduced. When the axial stress of the steel support is increased, the maximum displacement of the ground connecting wall gradually decreases, which is approximately linear.
