Analysis of Stope Stability in a Mining and dumping Site

Abstract As the stope gradually reaches the boundary and the steps of the working wall gradually reach the boundary, the stability of the overall stope is poor under the influence of weak inter layers. With the gradual increase of the soil step on the west side of the south dump, a deformation and instability area appears. After the slope is turned, the mining is carried out from west to east, and the stability of the slope is even worse due to the influence of rock strata downdip and water seepage. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out research on the stability of the slope in combination with the actual situation and fully consider the results of the supplementary exploration test of the rock mass, and propose comprehensive treatment measures for the slope in the deformation area, so as to provide a basis for the formulation of a safe and economic mining plan.
