Metodología para implementar inteligencia de negocios con Power BI
Business intelligence is a versatile concept whose application extends beyond the business realm, encompassing diverse fields. Despite its extensive presence in literature, its implementation in the educational sector remains limited, despite its potential to enhance data analysis and optimize decision-making. A lack of methodological documentation has been observed in reviewed projects, prompting this study to develop a robust methodology for designing business intelligence systems. This nine-phase methodology is based on a detailed analysis of 24 reference articles and is designed to guide the entire BI process, utilizing tools such as Microsoft Power BI for ETL, data analysis, and visualization. This aims to facilitate the creation of effective dashboards that empower users in making strategic decisions and promote continuous improvement within organizations. Successful implementation requires significant investment in BI training and competency development to overcome adoption barriers and maximize BI's potential to positively transform the educational sector.
