INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE OF SUPERVISING TRANSNATIONAL CORPORATIONS IN THE FINANCIAL SECTOR
In the context of modern globalization, transnational corporations (TNCs) play a significant role in the global economy, while simultaneously creating challenges in management and supervision. The purpose of this study is to examine international experience in supervising TNCs in the financial sector and develop recommendations for the Russian Federation. The research is based on the analysis of scientific sources, regulatory documents, and data from supervisory authorities of various countries. The main results show that international experience in supervising TNCs in the United States, Europe, and Switzerland includes measures for controlling internal operations within TNCs, cooperation between supervisory authorities, and the application of Basel Committee principles. Identified problems include the lack of a universal legal act and a global concept for controlling TNCs’ financial risks. Based on the findings, recommendations are proposed for improving supervisory mechanisms in Russia, including the development of a financial risk management system, enhancing coordination with international supervisory authorities, and establishing a legal framework for regulating TNCs.
