MUSICAL EDUCATION IN THE FAMILY: PSYCHOLOGICAL MECHANISMS

The authors examine the peculiarities of musical upbringing in families in Russia and Belarus. They reveal the main psychological mechanisms (contagion, imitation, persuasion and suggestion), which are used by parents at different age stages of child development. The material of the article emphasises the specificity of the use of psychological mechanisms in the context of the category of leading activity. Positive and negative influence of music on intellectual, emotional and volitional development of personality is also considered.
