MIGRATION ECONOMICS: IMPACT OF LABOR MIGRANTS ON LOCAL LABOR MARKETS
The article examines the impact of labor migrants on local labor markets, including employment dynamics, wage levels, and working conditions. Key economic effects, such as the substitution and complementarity effects, are analyzed, as well as their manifestations in various sectors of the economy. Particular attention is paid to the fiscal consequences of migration, including tax revenues and the burden on social services. The mechanisms of labor market regulation, including state programs for the integration of migrants, are also considered. Based on the analysis, conclusions are drawn about the role of migrants in the economies of host countries and recommendations for optimizing migration policy are made.
