On A.K. Richter’s Contribution to the Development of the Doctrine of the Stage of Preparation of a Case for Trial

The work is devoted to the analysis of articles by A.K. Richter, who investigated the problems of the stage of preparing a case for trial, taking into account the prevailing theory at that time. The works of A.K. Richter to date remain poorly studied, but the problems raised by the scientist, as well as their proposed solutions are still relevant. One of the main reasons for the problems arising at the stage of preparation is the inconsistency in the combination of oral and written principles in civil proceedings.
