Legal Regulation of the Use of Firearms by Police Officers

The article systematizes the doctrinal provisions regarding such a category as “the use of firearms”, characterizes the peculiarities of the legal regulation of the use of firearms, while indicating the complex nature of this regulation. The article makes suggestions on the need to improve the procedure for the use of firearms in the context of the development of digital and robotic technologies.
