An Analysis of Corruption-Related Risks in the Republic of Kazakhstan: The Anti-Corruption Prevention and Suppression Technology

The article examines the anti-corruption technology of corruption risk analysis used in the Republic of Kazakhstan in relation to such corruption prevention technology as the assessment of corruption risks in the Russian Federation. The distinctive features of the analysis of corruption risks are its division into external, conducted by a special law enforcement agency, and internal, implemented by the own compliance service of a state body or a quasi-public sector entity. The grounds, procedures, sources of assessment and analysis of corruption risks also differ in Russia and Kazakhstan. The author concludes that the analysis of corruption risks, like any other single anti-corruption technology, cannot be effective without an integrated approach to the formation of an anti-corruption culture and total anti-corruption.
