Strategie profrekwencyjne partii politycznych wobec młodzieży przed wyborami w 2023 roku. Analiza platformy TikTok

The aim of this article is an attempt to explain the specificity of political participation in Poland. The authors drew attention to the phenomenon of the parliamentary elections in 2023 and the high turnout of young people, who most often had not been active in the elections before. As a hypothesis of empirical research, it was considered that the high voter turnout of young people at that time was a consequence of high activity and strategies of activating political parties in new media, e.g. the TikTok platform. As a result of the research, the authors concluded that such an assumption is not empirically confirmed in relation to the official accounts of political parties. Therefore, it can be assumed that the parties used other profiles and accounts or neglected the channels of communication of the new media towards young people, and the reasons for mobilization should be sought elsewhere, e.g. in the activities of non-governmental organizations and social activists.
