The electricity consumption profile of Campina Grande - Brazil
In the global context, electricity consumption behavior refers to the patterns, trends and habits associated with the way individuals, companies or societies use electricity, and that these patterns vary according to various aspects of consumers, and that this behavior can be influenced in various ways. The aim of this article is therefore to find out about the profile of electricity consumption among consumers in the city of Campina Grande, Paraíba state, in northeastern Brazil. As this research is an exploratory study, its analytical framework is of a descriptive, quantitative and qualitative nature. Its theoretical and legal backing is based on the use of forms to obtain data, which will be used as working tools. This study analyzes a representative sample of domestic consumer units in the city of Campina Grande, distributed in five areas: north, south, east, west and downtown. Two of the five regions of the city have the highest consumption rates, as well as the highest rates of responses to the form.
