THE ROLE OF BANKING PROGRAMS IN SUPPORTING SMALL AND MEDIUM-SIZED BUSINESSES IN THE FAR EAST MACROREGION

The article is devoted to the study of the role of banking programs in supporting small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) in the Far East of Russia. The main goal is to analyze the effectiveness of banking instruments for financing SMBs under conditions of sanctions pressure and regional remoteness. Credit mechanisms, state subsidy programs, as well as promising areas for improving bank support are considered. Key problems of entrepreneurs’ access to financing have been identified, and measures to enhance the efficiency of banking programs in the macroregion are proposed.
