Design and Application of an Intercultural Education Model Using Virtual Reality(VR) : Focusing on garden and landscape visual literacy
This study develops and applies an intercultural education model using Virtual Reality(VR) for intermediate Korean learners, focusing on gardens and landscapes to foster intercultural competence. By integrating visual literacy, the model enables learners to compare, analyze, and reflect on their own and other cultures, helping them move beyond ethnocentric perspectives. Immersive VR experiences facilitated cultural empathy and understanding, highlighting VR’s potential to enhance intercultural awareness in Korean language education. (KAIST)
