Priorities in nutritional care in teleconsulting in the telehealth-ba system in the COVID-19 context
The main objective was to identify the main demands for teleconsultations on food and nutrition requested in the Telehealth system in the state of Bahia. This study has a descriptive cross-sectional design with qualitative analysis. 75 teleconsultations carried out on the Telehealth-BA system on topics related to nutrition from 01/01/2020 to 31/10/2022, during and after the COVID-19 pandemic. Description of the teleconsultations requested on the system. Teleconsultation records were exported from the system, analyzed in Microsoft® Excel® version 2312. Word clouds and similarity analyses were performed using Iramuteq 0.7 version alpha 2. The central International Classification of Primary Care was dengue and other viral diseases. The similarity analysis of the description of teleconsultations revealed the term “patient” as a central element of the textual corpus. The terms obesity, guidance material, nutritional guidance, systemic arterial hypertension, diabetic patient, and BMI (Body Mass Index) appear related. The main demands concerned protocols to avoid contamination by COVID, nutritional guidelines and questions about national prophylactic supplementation programs. Food plays an important role in preventing acute infectious diseases by strengthening immune defense and preventing and controlling CNCCs (Chronic Non-Communicable Conditions), confirming the importance of its inclusion in the most diverse public health contexts.
