The importance and role of the Russian forest in preserving the planet's climate

The article examines the ecological role of the forest, its impact on the climate, the availability of clean water and air, providing a place for comfortable living and recreation for people, preserving the diversity of flora and fauna. The role of the Russian forest in the carbon regulation of biosphere is highlighted in this paper as well. The author proposes the recommendations to enhance forest impact on the absorption of greenhouse gases and the improvement of the planet's climate.
