Kadomstev-Petviashivili (KP), Modified KP and Coupled KP Equations for Dust Ion-Acoustic wave in Kappa Distributed Plasma

Abstract Paper studies the behaviour of small amplitude solitons in a multi-species plasma containing dust impurity and two-temperature electrons characterized by kappa distribution. By applying reductive perturbation method, the study derives equations such as Kadomestev-Petviashivili (KP), modified KP, and coupled KP equations. Solutions for these equations are derived by using a single-variable transformation, through which the impacts of higher-order effects and different plasma characteristics on the features of dust ion-acoustic (DIA) solitons are analysed. The range of parameters in which positive and negative potential solitons occur is another area of inquiry that will be covered by applying knowledge gained from the KP equation’s nonlinear coefficient. Furthermore, the stability analysis of soliton solutions obtained from the KP, MKP, and CKP equations is explored in this paper. Notably, the work highlights the intriguing ways in which several physical conditions affect the properties of different types of tiny amplitude DIA solitons.
