ARCHITECTS AND ARTISTS IN ONE
Architecture is not just the technical execution of a project; it is at the same time the act of creating something new, so it has all the characteristics of art. After all, in addition to the form and construction itself, the architect analyzes and takes into account the surrounding landscape elements, colors, functionality and environmental aspects. Universities are aware of this process, and already in the entrance exam the prospective student must demonstrate the ability to draw freehand, thus a kind of bond between form, its functionality, aesthetics and art. Here we will focus on architects and their artistic achievements beyond their main professional interests, for the sake of emphasizing the need to express alternative aspects of their creativity - the need to externalize their artistic sensitivity and their own emotions related to it.
